About Josiah Kristinn Olson and Living SKy Photography

Hello! Let me tell you a little about myself. I'm the oldest of six children, and was born and raised in rural Saskatchewan. I became interested in nature photography at about 12 years old when I received a small point and shoot camera from my great grandmother. Ever since then, I have been taking photos of the outdoors. I am still amazed every time I get a glimpse of the beauty of this world that God has created. My goal is to use my art to give people a small taste of the awesome beauty of nature. It's all around us, and I just want to share what I've experienced with others so they can truly appreciate the beauty of this creation and the amazing power of our Creator. God has been very good to me, and I want to use this passion He's given me to honour Him. I hope my work inspires you in some small way to get out and experience the outdoors, enjoy it for what it is, and realize what an awesome God we serve.

I have been honoured to be published in several minor publications, including being featured in Randy Hoback's 2025 calendar. In 2024 a photo I took of a damselfly in a barley field at sunset was chosen as the Wildlife Category and Grand Prize Winner in Tourism Saskatchewan's Explore Sask Photo Contest.
